Royal North Shore Hospital were implementing an AGV System to run their Food services and Linen, Warequip was successful in being allocated the design and construction of the AGV Linen transport trolleys. These system had critical tolerances for the seemless operation with the AGV units. Warequip had been given the task over many site visits to evaluate a variety of operations and offer ergonomic cost efficient solutions. Warequip provided powered tow devices, adaptable to all AGV compatible trolleys to allow clean movement in areas the AGV was not allowed to operate.
The operation of both AGV, powered tugs, and powered trolleys allowed the Hospital to provide quick, efficient delivery of food ,linen, waste and clinical goods within the operation
The site itself was a challenge as it was operating over a new and old site, transferring product between various buildings.
